I’m usually skeptical about new social platforms, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised and really excited about Twitter’s introduction of their new native app, Vine. Vine is a mobile video app that was recently rolled out at the beginning of the year that allows mobile Twitter users to create six second or less videos that they can share on Vine, Twitter and Facebook. Think Instagram, but for videos. What makes this app particularly interesting to me is the challenge of telling a story in such a short window of time. Brevity is the name of the game across today’s marketing landscape.
